My grandma moved out of her house of almost 60 years, where she raised her 10 kids, and into a town home. She couldn't be more tickled with her new home and surprised us all with her easy-going attitude about the transition. She sold the old home and in typical Swank fashion, we had to have a party to say good-bye!
My siblings and I all happened to make it home for the party . . . we're all rarely home at the same time. It was a perfect opportunity to get a cousin photo shoot in! :) How cute are our kiddos?!?
Some kids need a little (or a lot!) of watermelon to snack on as we waited for the pizza to arrive.
The kids discovered gramma's sandbox- Uncle Leo had to do some quick landscaping to make it usable, but the kids didn't care! In fact, Henry and Nolan spent the entire evening digging!
The pizza arrived and everyone dug in!
Gramma with six of the ten
As with all Swank gatherings, it's a crowd! :)
SOLD!
And the highlight for my boys was my cousin Tyler arriving in his police uniform and cruiser! Tyler gave the kids a tour of the SUV and did that ever make by boys' night!
