We took our annual trip up north with some of Tom's co-workers this past weekend. Despite the gloomy weather, we had a great time! While Tom was golfing on Saturday morning, I took Henry on his first "boot" (boat) ride! He has lots of fun and especially liked going "fas" (fast)!

We took several walks around the resort.
It was humid and kind of warm on Saturday. Henry was enthralled with the lake, so I eventually took his shoes off and rolled up his pants . . .
. . . which lead me to just throwing on his swimsuit! The water was cold, but Henry didn't seem to mind. 
We were hoping for some warm weather on Sunday morning so Henry could wear himself out in the lake before our drive back home. No such luck! Tom and Henry enjoyed some pool time instead. Henry is starting to figure out how to kick his legs, move his arms, and blow bubbles!
His jumping in the pool is even turning into a jump rather than a step! :)All in all, a great weekend get-a-way for us! Even though we were with co-workers, we had lots of time for just the three of us to hang out (which is what we love to do on our weekends!).
