Our little buddy turned 10-months on the 15th! I seriously can't believe he is 10-months already. It's true, time does go even faster with the second one. I really can't believe we'll be celebrating his first birthday at the end of the summer. But let's not get ahead of ourselves . . . here's what he is up to at 10 months:
Charlie loves playing chase with his brother. He is a speedy crawler and is taking 1-2 steps now. He LOVES throwing balls and then chasing after them (yikes, we all know how much Henry loved -well, loves- to throw things). He knows the difference between cars and planes- he'll drive cars on the floor and "fly" the airplanes over his head (I find this absolutely amazing that he does this!!!). Charlie has his whole top row of teeth coming in at the moment (ouch!) so is drooling like crazy and always has a finger in his mouth. He sleeps from about 7:30ish at night until 7ish in the morning. Charlie is still taking a good 1 1/2-2 hour morning nap (when we're home- otherwise he's been quite adaptable this summer at grabbing quick cat naps in the car, stroller, etc.). And then another 1 1/2 -2 hour nap in the afternoon. The boy loves to eat but can be picky (grunt and groan) when I put something on his tray that we doesn't want. He is still eating pureed fruit and veggies mixed in his cereal for lunch and dinner but is eating toast, pancakes, etc. for breakfast. He is in size 4 diapers and 12-month clothes. He really is such a happy little guy! :)
