We celebrated Tom's 34th birthday on Sunday and had the BEST time doing so! Tom asked for a family day for his birthday and that is what he got! The day started off with some southwestern omelets (which included Tom's favorite foods- eggs and black beans!!!) and then a trip to the zoo (we were able to do the inside AND outside parts as the weather was SO NICE!). After lunch and naps, we headed out to try out Tom's new kites he got from his mom.
Charlie-man got to ride in the stroller without his car seat for the first time! He LOVED it! :)
The kites were a HUGE hit (thanks, Grandma Mary!)! The day was perfectly windy for some good kite flying! :)
Henry thought he was a pretty big boy for holding on to the string!
After grilling for the first time this season, we sang "happy birthday" and opened presents. Tom said he had the best birthday ever! :)
