Play dough

One of my students made home-made play dough for Henry for Christmas (how sweet is that!?!? Two other students gave me books for him! I just love my class this year!). We gave it a whirl this weekend. I thought for sure he would want to eat it. Nope . . . he thought it would be a fun idea to throw it. Just like everything else he picks up these days, the play dough went soaring through the air. Little turkey!

Here are a few of Henry's latest:

  • got his first molar (bottom, left side)
  • says, "Boo!"
  • says, "Whadat" for "What's that" and points at everything
  • is obsessed with animal books
  • gives bear hugs when we ask for them
  • shakes his head no very vigurously when we ask him just about anything (example, "Henry, do you want a drink?" - Henry immediatly shakes no, even though sometimes he really means yes!)
  • points to his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth when asked (unless he shakes his head no!)
  • understands so much more than I can even begin to comprehend! It will be fun when his vocabulary catches up with what is going on in his mind! :)
