Roommate Reunion

After cancelling our trip to visit our Boston roomies after Christmas because Tom ended up having to work, we made a quick, impromptu trip down to Texas to get some much-needed Shaver time (it had been a year and a half since we last laid eyes our our besties from Boston)! Charlie was a trooper on his first airplane ride (slept most of the way down and back!) and Henry LOVED everything about the airport and airplane. We even spent some time in the cockpit after we landed in Dallas so Henry could chat with the pilot!

We left Minnesota on Saturday morning and it was 10 degrees out. We landed in Dallas at noon and it was 65 degrees!!! We spent most of the weekend outside! :)

Henry made a new BFF while we were there! Campbell and Henry were two peas in a pod! :)

Henry insisted on bathing with Campbell! I think Henry showed her a thing or two about splashing that Campbell's parents may wish she hadn't seen!

Charlie turned 5 months while we were visiting!

Before we left on Monday afternoon, we spent some time at the Dallas Arboretum to wear out the kids. Charlie was worn out before we even got there! :)

Henry showed off his knowledge of construction equipment during our walk around the arb.

Eventually Charlie woke up to enjoy the beautiful flowers! :)

Henry got a good work out in by plowing the fields the old-fashioned way.

Courtney proved to be the hostess with the mostess! She cooked, cleaned, planned great outings, and entertained the children!!!

We had the BEST time visiting our old roomies! We miss them already! Thank you, Shavers, for a great time! :)
