Behind Mother's Day, the 4th of July is my favorite holiday and we had a great one this year! We started the day at the Eagan Parade, which turned out to be rather disappointing as far a parades go. BUT, what is the 4th of July without a parade?!?!
Henry's favorite part was the fire trucks!
We then enjoyed a beautiful afternoon and evening at the McMahon's! The kids loved swimming in John's pool and playing at his "park" (as Henry calls backyard play structures!).
We left the McMahon's around 9:45 and head back to our neck of the woods to watch some local fireworks. Henry LOVED them! He would say, "Boom" after each round! We couldn't believe Henry made it up that late- maybe the 4th will be a favorite of his too! It was a perfect day- parade, BBQ with great friends, and fireworks!
