. . . I say tomato! We have tomatoes up the wazoo around these parts. Above is the amount of cherry tomatoes I picked in ONE afternoon. I've been busy making delicious concoctions including this tomato sauce below. Not only does it have tomatoes, but also carrots, onions, celery and some herbs! Super healthy! :)

Wedgie
Henry took himself to the bathroom while I was putting Charlie to bed tonight. This is the aftermath- tee hee :) That and the puddle of pee that didn't make it into the toilet . . . I guess it was a sign telling me it's high time I clean the boys' bathroom!
Splish Splash!
It was a cooker out there today so our playing outside turned into running through the sprinkler! It was a big hit . . . for about 3 minutes! :)
Happy Labor Day!
We tend to spend all non-religious holidays with the McMahons and Gallatins- which we LOVE! We had a blast at the Minnehaha Falls park! We picnicked, played at the park, and did some swimming in the splash park.
Frederick and Henry going down the "fast" slide.
Both boys did incredibly well with the water today! Wahoo!! That is, until Charlie decided to take any and every toy from other kids that he could get his mitts on. Stinker!!!
Balloons
We took the boys out for pizza over the weekend and their was a balloon artist there . . . who would have thought?!?! Of course the boy were enthralled!!! (I think Tom was too!) We came away with this nifty motorcycle and a dinosaur as well. (How does one become a balloon artist?)
New Bikes!
Henry had his balance bike perfected late last summer and has been riding it ever since. We decided it was time to upgrade to a pedal bike (and REI had great sales this weekend!). Henry was thrilled with his new "big boy" bike!
After adjusting his seat . . .
. . . Henry took off! He has done really well so far!! He's still getting used to using the brakes and struggles a bit to get up hills, but that's to be expected. He's such a big boy!
Charlie loved playing with dad's tools as Henry whizzed by him on the bike!

Charlie also got a chance "ride" Henry's new bike for a few minutes!

I even got a new bike this weekend!!! (Again, REI sale!!) The bike we were using to pull the trailer was pretty much a death trap. I'm very excited for some fall bike rides with my boys! :)
"Camping"
Henry and Tom did a little backyard camping over the weekend! Henry thought he was pretty cool!!!
I got a text from Tom at 9:45 saying Henry was asleep. I couldn't believe it . . . anytime we are sleeping somewhere other than our home, Henry is up until at least 11 or 12!
They came in the house about 7:45 the next morning! All that fresh air must have helped in the sleep department! Tom, however, did not sleep well- he must be getting old as he used to sleep anywhere! And I mean anywhere! (He moved to Boston a few days before I did without anything but a small suitcase. He ended up sleeping with a towel and a stack of books for his pillow on hardwood floor. And according to him, "I slept great!")
